Editorial Standards

Our Commitment

PepComputer prioritizes accuracy over completeness. We would rather publish less and be right than publish more and mislead. Every piece of content on this site is scoped strictly to the research record — we do not speculate beyond what the data supports, and we do not fill gaps with conjecture.

Our scope is research education only. We explain what scientists have studied, what the preclinical and clinical data show, and how to perform accurate reconstitution and dosage calculations. We do not advise on personal use.

What We Cover

  • Peptide research education — mechanism of action, receptor targets, and what preclinical or clinical research has examined.
  • Reconstitution mathematics — accurate calculation methods for mixing and diluting research-grade peptides.
  • Calculator tools — free, transparent tools for researchers to perform dosage and reconstitution math.
  • Research news — summaries of peer-reviewed findings and preprints, clearly labeled by evidence type.

What We Do Not Cover

  • Personal medical advice. Nothing on PepComputer constitutes advice for your specific situation. Consult a licensed healthcare provider for any medical decision.
  • Dosing recommendations for human use. We present dosages studied in research contexts; we do not tell individuals what to take or how much.
  • Vendor endorsements. We do not recommend, rate, or endorse any peptide supplier or commercial product.
  • Clinical guidance. We are not a clinical resource. We are an education and calculation platform.

Source Standards

We apply a clear hierarchy when sourcing claims:

  1. Peer-reviewed research is our preferred and primary source. We cite journal, year, and author where available.
  2. Preprints are used when they represent the most current data, but are explicitly labeled as not yet peer-reviewed.
  3. Animal and in vitro studies are clearly noted as preclinical — we never present animal data as if it applies directly to humans.
  4. We do not cite blogs, forums, anecdotal reports, or commercial sources as evidence for biological claims.

Review Process

All content is reviewed at least every six months or when significant new research emerges in a given area. When content is updated, we note the revision date. When a material factual change is made, we describe what changed and why.

Corrections Policy

We take corrections seriously. If you believe a piece of content contains a factual error, a mischaracterized study, or outdated information, please contact us at hello@peptidehub.com. Include the URL of the page, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and any supporting source if you have one. We will investigate and update with a correction notice if warranted.
